The
HTMS Khram, a 200ft long former US Navy LSM from WWII was decommissioned
and intentionally sunk by the Royal Thai Navy as an artificial reef
in February 2003. The wreck lies upright in sailing position
with the top of the wreck at around 15 meters and the keel resting
on the seabed at 30meters.The ship has been well prepared by the
Thai Navy as a dive site, and is free from armaments, oil and most
hazards to divers.
